How to order takeaway

There are three ways to get The Greedy Sheep food to go:

1. Walk in and order at the counter. Tell us it is takeaway. Most dishes are ready in 15 minutes
2. Call ahead. Phone us on 020 8037 8128 and we will have it boxed and ready when you arrive
3. Order through Deliveroo. Our Deliveroo page is live for collection and delivery

If you are picking up for the office or a group, call ahead by an hour so we can pace the kitchen.

What travels well

Some dishes are made for takeaway. Others lose their texture in a box. Order these for collection:

• Pan-fried dumplings - hold their crisp for 20 minutes
• Rou jia mo - travels perfectly, the original to-go food
• Cumin lamb - rich, hot, holds together
• Cold sesame noodles - meant to be eaten cold or room temp
• Lamb noodle soup - we box noodles separately from broth so they do not go mushy

Skip the dishes that need to be eaten immediately at the table - we will guide you when you order.

Takeaway timing

Standard takeaway timing:

• Single-dish order: 10 to 15 minutes
• Two to four dishes: 15 to 20 minutes
• Family-size order (5+ dishes): 25 to 35 minutes
• Office lunch (10+ dishes): call an hour ahead

Walk in any time between 12pm and 9:45pm. Last orders for takeaway match dine-in last orders.
