Over 2,000 years ago, in the ancient city of Xi'an - the starting point of the Silk Road - Muslim traders perfected the art of the lamb noodle soup. Slow-simmered bone broth. Hand- pulled noodles. Spices carried along trade routes that connected China to the world.

That tradition didn't stay in Xi'an. It travelled - through generations of families, through kitchens, through borders - until it found a home in the heart of London's Chinatown.

The Greedy Sheep is Chinatown's only 100% halal Chinese restaurant. Every dish on our menu is prepared in a fully halal kitchen. No alcohol. No compromise. Just honest, Northern Chinese street food made with the same care it's been made for millennia.
